Present Status of development of industrial and social infrastructure

The Government of India introduced a policy on 1.4.2000 for setting up of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the country with a view to provide an internationally competitive and hassle free environment for exports. Units can be set up in SEZ for manufacture of goods and rendering of services. SEZ units are allowed to import duty free and freely and all their import/export operations are on self- certification basis. These units are, however, required to be net foreign exchange earners. These units are technically treated as a foreign territory and sales in the Domestic Tariff Area by SEZ units is subject to payment of full Custom Duty and import policy in force.

It is proposed to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in terms of the policy of the Government of India, on an appx10.82 Hectares site owned by the promoters for the purpose on GT Road, Village Sewah, Distt. Panipat, Haryana. The SEZ is proposed with a judicious mix of space for SEZ units and other commercial and back-up facilities, within permissible norms, to make the SEZ a comprehensive facility offering quality space for users. In view of the growing exports of the country, success of the SEZ scheme and the popularity, proximity and connectivity of Panipat to Delhi, marketing on the project is not seen as difficulty, there is no SEZ in the area and there is sufficient demand potential for space for IT and ITeS. The promoters have accordingly evolved their marketing strategy for the project. The key marketing factors for the project will be its state of the art infrastructure and completely self sufficient development.


Total FAR allowed as per building by laws is 2.5 times for IT SEZ as per this. The project will have a total of 29.13 lacs Sq.ft. of built-up area for leasing by units registered under the SEZ scheme. In addition residential area (including Service Apartments) will be available for those associated with the units in the SEZ.  Some of the common areas catering to the users will also be leased out for the lessees to provide the envisaged services to the occupants of the SEZ. The SEZ will have all basic infrastructural facilities like power, water and satellite based communication and other facilities including training, conferencing, eating out , recreation and other utilities. 1 MW Solar Power Generation will be provided for the entire project.


Availability of water, power and Land


  • There is one overhead tank existing on the site.

  • We have taken electricity connection to our Site office.

  • 26.82 Acres of Contiguous Land is already in possession of the company.

  • Land transfer and registration in the name of the Company has been completed.

  • Mutations and Non-encumbrance Certificate and Nakl-aks sijra obtained.

  • We are actively involved in preparation of Master plan (ready for submission) and Demarcation of site etc. Highway entry permission has been received from National Highway Authority of India.

  • After master plan and Building plans Construction can begin. Nodal Authority for execution of project is Development Commissioners office/STPI for the purposes of all routine approvals and all exemptions and benefits.

  • The proposed SEZ land has been surrounded by a boundary wall.

  • Existing structure demolished as per Condition in formal Approval.

  • We have also built up a Site office and Guard room in the proposed SEZ land.


A grant for extension has been obtained from the government and the construction is expected to start in August 2013 and the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2015.
